Jermai Harrison, LMHC, is dedicated to a singular life purpose: guiding individuals through their healing journey, unlocking their untapped potential, and discovering growth beyond pain. Her mission involves delivering high-quality counseling, coaching, consulting, and mentoring services to individuals, families, youth-centered programs, and church ministries. Jermai stewards her gift as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, Counseling Business Owner, Transitional Life Coach, Associate Minister, Youth Leader, "Podcast" Host, and holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Eastern Nazarene College. |
Jermai's enduring dedication revolves around transforming the lives of young individuals, a focal point that defines much of her work. Leveraging her skills, talents, and endeavors, she aims to empower individuals, fortify families, and enrich communities. As a Faith-based Counselor, Jermai underscores the significance of investing in one's soul, emphasizing it as among life's most rewarding investments. Across her professional career, personal life, and Ministry, her aspiration is for everyone she encounters to experience not just her guidance but also encounter the profound love of God. Jermai believes that it is through Him that she finds her effectiveness and is committed to integrating God into every facet of her life. For six years, Jermai dedicated herself to a group home environment, working closely with teenagers affiliated with the Department of Children and Families (DCF), Department of Mental Health (DMH), or Department of Youth Services (DYS). This experience has equipped her with a profound understanding that most individuals seek a compassionate listener—one willing to look beyond external appearances or behaviors and recognize the inner struggles. Moreover, Jermai's community service extended through a role as an AmeriCorps Ambassador of Mentoring for two years, facilitating connections between urban youth and mentors. Through this service, she gained deeper insights into the pressing needs of her community, realizing that those who require assistance might lack the means to access it. Consequently, Jermai emphasizes the importance of reaching out directly to where people are, ensuring support reaches those who truly need it. |
